KK? forget it!

dr soon may be expensive but i am glad i stuck to her through. the last gynae at KK suckz!

the consultation cost more than dr soon, a private practitioner! & waiting time was min 2 -3 hours! & it was frustrating to hv the gynae eager to see u out the door the moment i went in.. c'mon! i waited for so long & paid her so much!

she didnt understd my needs, nor give me advice/alternatives even when scans shows me as a sufferer of PCO. i was then 28 & wanted to start planning for a baby. however, this dr yvonne said i was still young, not to worry & gives me Dianne35 (a contraceptive) for my acne & recommended i stick onto it for at least a yr. I quit seeing her afterthat. i don need such a doctor. in contrast, dr soon patiently talks to me & clears any doubts i have, giving me advice on alternative treatments when she scans me again (in her own room) to check my ovaries for confirmation of PCO.

and then there is the stupid procedure of going somewhere else in the building to Q for scans (not done by doctors but by a lousy fillipino nurse), then wait for results, then collect & Q outside clinic for consultation. my! while these took just 30mins (incl waiting time) at dr soon, it took me half a day at KK. of cos there are unpredicables la .. but the max i ever waited at dr soon clinic was just 1hour .. did i mention the incapable fillipino nurse took almost 20 mins for the scan while dr soon needed just 5mins?

6th week checkup

went for my 6th week checkup at dr soon clinic. luckily i went .. cos there were some extra tissues "there" due to the Episiotomy done & dr put some chemicals (she used the word chemical) to dissolve it. no wonder i felt strange .. like its unlike before .. the 2 stitches she did healed completely though. phew! it didnt at 2 wks and dr wanted to take the remaining out which i didnt want to cos it will hurt. so i went home and guai-guai use the sodium to speed up recovery.

told her my menses came & went & came back again just when i tot it was going to end totally. she said it could be my body trying to menstrate! god! to any other pp, this may nt be good news but to me, yes! i do not ovulate & Kyros was a bonus to me .. i've always been thankful it took me just half a yr to conceive. in any case, dr said this menses shd end in a few days & regulate in the next 1, 2 or 3 mths, it all depends. dr was very assuring .. said PCO maybe reversed after delivery .. i told her that my hair has been dropping like mad & i suffer fm acne, all in the name of PCO & we are keeping our fingers crossed i may be that lucky fella to come out of it. meanwhile, my hair has been strong, Thank God!
